from today to tomorrow
A big part of balancing education, career development, and personal responsibilities, for me at least, comes down to time management.
I HATE how there are only 24 hours in a day, but what if that resentment is a good thing? I can wish for days to be longer, to learn things faster, but what value would skillsets and projects have if anyone could complete them in a day? I'm not the smartest choom you'll meet, but what I do have is a hard-working brain, sometimes to a fault.
When I struggle to find a job, I tend to blame the system, the ATS that reviews my resume, or the hiring manager that can't see past what I am now versus what I can be; but it's not their fault at all.
When I finally get my dream role, whether it's a year, or a decade from now, I can look back at all the struggle it took to get there and smile knowing it made me more competent, disciplined, and intuitive.
I can wish for tomorrow, but then I would miss today, and maybe that's the beauty of time.
Lot's of rambling for a gonk that should be studying LOL. Keep working hard, salvation is across the corner.
Stay salty chooms.
